Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and team name. When you connect third-party services (Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile), we store OAuth tokens to access data on your behalf. We also collect usage data including which MCP tools you call and how many API credits you consume.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide the TransformSEO service: running SEO tools, syncing provider data, tracking keyword rankings, and generating reports. We use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. API Credits and Third-Party Data Processing

When you use TransformSEO's MCP tools, your queries are sent to third-party data providers (including DataForSEO) to retrieve SEO data. These providers process your queries but do not retain your personal information. Domain names and keywords you research are sent as API parameters.

4. Third-Party Services

TransformSEO integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment card data; we never store card numbers.
  • Google APIs — Analytics, Search Console, and Business Profile data. Access is governed by your OAuth consent.
  • DataForSEO — SEO data provider for keyword research, backlink analysis, and SERP data.
  • Bento — Transactional email delivery.
  • New Relic — Application performance monitoring (no customer data is sent).

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Synced SEO data (keyword rankings, metrics, audit results) is retained for 12 months. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. We use Azure Container Apps with managed infrastructure, automatic patching, and network isolation. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can disconnect third-party integrations at any time from your dashboard. To exercise these rights, contact us at brad@transformseo.com.

8. Cookies

TransformSEO uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics are handled server-side through Application Insights.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
